Iconic among sunscreens/award-winning sunscreens
Panovista Max, the corner vertical sunscreen by Renson, was awarded with the 2016 Iconic Award in the “Product – Best of Best” category. The sunscreen shades corner glazing of up to 30 m³ in size, without disturbing guide elements.
The jury writes the following about it: “Large glass fronts that go around corners are on trend. With Panovista Max, fronts can be shaded with up to six metres of glass on each side, leaving no gaps, all without any side channels or guide systems with cables. Another sensational feature is the corner zip closure, which allows the two fabric screens of the vertical sunscreen to be connected together very easily,
thus providing an aesthetically clean edge. As a result, the sunscreen also becomes more stable and now achieves the highest wind rating. The glass fibre fabric screens included are available in many colours and can be combined with all sun protection fabric screens by Renson. Both sides of the fabric screen simultaneously run up into boxes of only 150 x 155 mm in width, and disappear almost out of sight into the building’s architecture. An innovative, very cleverly worked out product, suitable for large surface areas.”
For about six decades now, the German Design Council has championed holistic environmental design. The Council was founded at the initiative of the German Parliament and is sponsored by German industry. The internationally recognised award was presented on the occasion of the Expo Real trade fair on4 October 2016 at BMW World Munich. Architects, designers, and company representatives from 24 countries attended the awards ceremony. The jury had over 600 entries to judge. Renson was the only company in its sector to receive an award.
