The already traditional meeting before the actual exhibition BAU 20017 from 16th until 21st of January was held at the International Congress Center in Munich (ICM). GEOLYTH was presenting itself as the expert in mineral insulation systems for companies with focus on quality based building products.
Between the 13th and 14th October 2016, GEOLYTH was presenting the patented mineral foam (GMS 65 and GMS 130) to journalists and was able to generate new contacts in different fields of the construction industry. The curiosity on the new developed, and already approved material, GEOLYTH bluesmart® was very intense. It is a solely mineral product for complex insulation requirements with various qualities, such as fire resistance (A1), compressive strength (>265 kPa) and quick hardening times. GEOLYTH bluesmart® is mainly used as a filling material for clay bricks, as incombustible insulation boards for facades and under- screed insulations. The product was developed in a long term research process and consists of fully cell- closed (hydrophobic!) perlites and a cement- matrix as a binding agent.
